Travelling

On Monday we drove around the island. We went down to the southern coast to see the Covas del Drac then up to the northern coast to Soller. This page is just a bunch of pictures we took while driving around the island that day.

Check out the pottery building. They had all sorts of random objects stuck to the building. I tried to get a closer picture of it but we were moving too fast. I'm sure you're all used to our moving-to-fast pictures. :)

Here is Alan talking or singing or something. Maybe he's just making a weird face (he does that sometimes). Who knows.

We now know why (or at least part of the reason why) all the cars in Europe are tiny little things. Check out this road!! We would NOT have gotten our Lumina down half of these roads.

Those are orange trees. They all had little oranges on them. We kept meaning to stop and pick some, but we never got around to it. We saw other trees that we thought were lemon trees. If they weren't, they have very lemonish looking fruit going on them.

Heheee...now we get the pleasure of passing someone on one of these roads. Basically how it works is one person has to drive off the road while the other guy goes by. Sometimes you even have to back up a ways until you find a place wide enough to pass. After awhile we started noticing the 'passing areas' so we could decided whether or not to back up to one of them if we met a car along the way. Makes for very interesting driving.

I love these roads!! :)
